Independent Contractor Onboarding Agreement
Sales Representative — Please read carefully, then sign at the bottom.
Important: You must also complete a W-9 form in addition to this agreement before you can be paid. A separate W-9 will be sent to you for signature.
Independent Contractor Status
You are being engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee. Evergreen Flooring & Tile does not withhold taxes on your behalf. You are responsible for your own federal and state taxes, self-employment tax, and any applicable business licenses. You are not entitled to employee benefits, workers' compensation, or unemployment insurance through this company.
What We Expect
- •Respond to all leads within 2 business hours
- •Keep all client communications professional
- •Log all activity in the CRM / client file system
- •Follow up on quotes within 48 hours
- •Never quote outside of approved pricing — no exceptions
- •Show up to weekly check-ins
- •Don't talk pricing, timelines, or services you can't back up
How You Get Paid
- •Commission only — paid on closed, completed jobs
- •Payment issued after project is finished and collected
- •No cap on earnings
- •Bonuses available for hitting monthly targets
- •Mileage reimbursement for pre-approved site visits
- •Access to company CRM and marketing materials provided
Conduct & Termination
Be straight with clients and with us. Lying about pricing, services, or timelines gets you let go immediately. Don't share client information with anyone outside the company. Either party can end this agreement at any time with written notice. Commissions on jobs already sold and completed at time of termination will still be paid out.
By signing below, I confirm I have read this agreement, understand I am an independent contractor, and agree to these terms. I also understand I must complete a W-9 separately.
